Bp. Dan-

Below is a comment sent by Cheryl H. who cannot access your blog thru her work computer. It was written last week but I know you will appreciate her reflection.

The pictures are great and I continue to be glad for keeping us current.

CHERYL H. -- I figure if you were able to set up the blog on VOX, then you have your laptop with you and you might get this e-mail. I wanted to visit you on the VOX thing, particularly when I saw “no friends have listed this site,” and “no neighbors” have listed this site. However, I know you have 20,000 Good Friends and Neighbors here in the Diocese.

But….since my only computer is Big Brother’s Corporate computer, I was afraid they would find me wandering around somewhere out in cyberspace and slap my hand.

Anyway: Thank you so much for sharing your accounts with us. I’ve been spending a good bit of company time every day tracking Lambeth as closely as possible.

As much as I adore Rowan Williams—I think it’s the eyebrows—for the life of me I can’t understand how a Bishop can be un-invited. I thought that every Bishop, by default, “belonged” at Lambeth. Anyway, I’m so glad you supported Bp. Gene, and your expression of the contrast of those two celebrations was poignant, indeed.

I feel that part of my soul/spirit is over there. The rest of it is here….and very Mindful.

May the freshness of Holy Spirit fall like manna and morning dew.

Cheryl
